Call for Abstracts

Participants are warmly invited to submit abstracts of their research paper presentations, poster presentations, workshops or elevator pitches:

  1. Research Paper Presentations are talks of 20/25 minutes with 5/10 minutes for questions. These presentations will be organized in multi-paper sessions that include up to three papers on a similar topic.
  2. Poster Presentations allow presenters to provide an overview of their work and describe the details of their work to small groups during a 90 minute session.
  3. Workshops are interactive demonstrations or experiential sessions rooted in participation and active learning (45 minutes).
  4. Elevator Pitches are short descriptions of an idea or result that explain the concept in a way such that any listener can understand it in a short period of time (2 minutes). This description typically explains who "the Thing" is for, what it does, why it is needed, and how it will get done. You have the opportunity to present at the conference, as well as to write - in case the paper is accepted by the scientific committee - a scientific article or an experience report, which can be written in English or German. The contribution will be accepted if the article corresponds to the conference topic and meets the authors' guidelines.
