Gourmand World Cookbook Award 2018 für den Fachbereich Ernährung
31. Jänner 2018 – Das Institut für Professionalisierung in der Berufspädagogik erarbeitete im Rahmen des Projekts digital.kochen ein Konzept für ein elektronisches Kochbuch und reichte es beim Gourmand World Cookbook Award 2018 ein. Und es ist Finalist! Es gab weltweit 215 Einreichungen in über 100 Kategorien. Die Pädagogische Hochschule erhielt in der Kategorie Cooking School – Education den 1. Preis für Österreich, gemeinsam mit 14 anderen Finalisten aus Canada, Indien, Kolumbien, Irland, Schweden, Italien, Spanien etc. Der Preis wird am 26. Mai 2018 in Yantai, China überreicht werden. Wir gratulieren sehr herzlich!
Hier aus der Beschreibung des Events:
The Gourmand World Cookbook Awards are the major Food Culture event in the world. It was founded in 1995 by Edouard Cointreau. Every year, it honours the best food and wine books, printed or digital, as well as food television. Books from over 200 countries participate in these prestigious awards, the only international competition of the sector. It is free, and open to all languages.
Every year, Gourmand gives the awards in a very special location for gastronomy. The ceremony is always an opportunity to meet every important person in the world of food and books: hundreds of publishers, authors, chefs and journalists take part in these events. The Gourmand Awards have been compared to the "Oscars". They are inspired by the Olympic Games and their spirit.
This year there were entries from 215 countries and regions. There are 100 categories for Food, 30 for Drinks. Food Culture is now taken very seriously by most governments and individuals. Food is at the heart of the issues of our future, collectively and individually. Trends in Food and Drinks culture are now global, everywhere in the world, which this list of finalists makes very clear.
